Stage Dumps

Those not hip to the Beggars Group blog might want to right themselves. You can learn about a lot of important stuff that makes your life better.

We just confirmed Fall shows with The New Year, Magnolia Electric Company, Bottomless Pit, and other folks. These will be our first shows in the Northeast.

We’re also currently working on new songs and will be recording at the end of August (with Bubba Kadane wearing the producer shades again). More info to come as we work out the details.

Oh, look! A puppy!

Next week we play a bunch of Midwest shows with our brothers from other mothers, Minus Story and The Coke Dares. Dates are on our web site and at MySpace. ROCK AND ROLL FEVER: CATCH IT!

Roflcopter

Matt is currently obsessed with roflcopters and lollercoasters. Bryan is obsessed with Failboats. Howard is obsessed with getting a good interest rate on his mortgage. Please forgive us.

New stuff: we have t-shirts and a really wonderful, limited-edition silk-screened poster available for sale at the Works Progress site. The poster was for the Feb 27, 2008 Joe Lally/Edie Sedgwick/Tre Orsi show at Rubber Gloves, and were designed and printed by Mr. Nevada Hill.

We have a string of shows coming up in March and April, including our first trip out of state. Our brothers from other mothers, Minus Story and Coke Dares, will be guiding us through these baby steps.

In April, we’re going to record a few new songs and see if anything magical happens.

There’s more, oh so much more, but I’ve already said to much. Back to drinking.
